Since 2011 Gourmet Chorizo has worked in partnership with a homeless charity, Astell Foundation. We donate food and often volunteer at Astell Foundation on a weekly basis at their 'Saturday Night Fever' scheme in South Kensington, helping to feed around 130 homeless people. In the future we hope to help further with a back to 'work scheme' helping these less fortunate people back to employment.
Gourmet Chorizo encourages recycling, and to help the environment, we use biodegradable and wooden cutlery. We also have a policy of using only paper based plates to ensure that our catering has as little impact on the environment as possible. Polystyrene is banned from all our sites.
We are keen to ensure that any cardboard or other paper based products used by staff are recycled, either at the event, or on a separate site wherever possible.
